About the Author:
Hira Amjad is a skilled Optometrist and Orthoptist from Pakistan, graduated from Rawalpindi Medical University, with extensive training from esteemed Government Hospitals like Holy Family and Benazir Bhutto Hospital. She has completed her Research Report and Thesis on “Effects of Anti-VEGF on different stages of retinopathy i.e. CSMO, PDR AND NPDR” and secured 3rd Position in Oral Research Presentation at a National Conference. She has also served as an Instructor for Optometry and Orthoptics curriculum for bachelor’s students through her organization named AHP Expertise. Her professional development includes International Courses from Cybersight, USA, on Basics of Phacoemulsification, Pediatric Eye Diseases, and Headaches and Visual Symptoms. As Founder and President of AHP Expertise, Hira has contributed to health-related projects on Dry Eye and the Role of Optometrists in Healthcare. Additionally, she teaches Biology at Cantt Public Girls School and College, Rawalpindi, and has led awareness campaigns on Health and environment related projects like Polio and Save Water.
